Red Selectus is of intense ruby red colour. On the nose it surprises us with notes of pepper, spices, combined with notes of black currant, raspberry, cocoa, and chocolate. The taste is full bodied with an elegant freshness, slightly noticeable tannins and a rich flavour. The aftertaste is slightly warm due to a higher alcohol content yet very pleasant and quite harmonised. It’s a great, enjoyable red blend wine that will improve with time.
Red Selectus is an elegant wood matured blend that gives us a wide range of combination possibilities. We recommend it as a companion to steaks, roast beef, matured cheese as well as a perfect companion to a nice beef stroganoff.
